Joel Chase

CFO

Joel Chase joined J-Mack as CFO in the summer of 2024. Before jumping onboard, he was a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, concentrating on enhancing operational and organizational effectiveness for both Federal and State Governments. Joel conducted comprehensive assessments and delivered strategic recommendations, culminating in actionable roadmaps outlining short, medium, and long-term opportunities. Joel was also the SAP Change Management and Measurement Lead, where he leveraged his strategic vision and change management expertise to drive transformative initiatives on a global scale.

Prior to his civilian career, Joel spent 13 years as a Naval Aviator, flying the C-2A Greyhound. He demonstrated exceptional diplomatic and operational skills during deployments to the Western Pacific and Middle East, facilitating diplomatic clearances, logistics and mission success for aircraft and personnel across 11 countries. As Training Officer and Lead Instructor Pilot in Norfolk, VA, he trained over 100 pilots through classroom and instructional flights, culminating in their successful Aircraft Carrier Qualification. Joel’s final military duty was in Japan, where he served as the Assistant Officer in Charge. Here he oversaw the operations and maintenance of three aircraft and 60 personnel, successfully completing multiple deployments across Southeast Asia. He retired from the Navy in 2019.

Joel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Central Michigan University and multiple military achievements including the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2). Joel brings a wealth of expertise in leadership, client relationships and organizational excellence. He currently resides in Annapolis, MD with his wife and 4 children.
